Our Mission & Goals
Founded in 1989, the Hellenic Association of Airline Representatives (SAAE) is the official representative body of Greek companies that act on behalf of foreign passenger and cargo airlines, as well as businesses providing ground handling and aviation support services. Today, more than 63% of the airlines operating in Greece are represented by Greek General Sales Agents (GSAs), highlighting the strategic role of SAAE’s members within the national aviation framework.
SAAE serves as a unified institutional voice for the sector, promoting structured dialogue with public authorities, regulators, and industry stakeholders. The Association works to address regulatory and operational challenges, enhance service standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of air transport services in Greece.
Through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and collective action, SAAE supports the sustainable growth of aviation and its contribution to the country’s tourism economy, reinforcing Greece’s position within the international air transport network.
